Was semi hoping this might still be okay as a fan of DGG's Halloweens (minus Kills) but I found this to be absolutely abysmal. I almost walked out I was so bored.

 

The most shocking thing? That the original was way more graphic, vulgar and disturbing than anything here! Believer was borderline PG-13 outside of reusing the C-word line from the original.

This was garbage. Bad story, bad characters, bad acting (shocking considering that everyone in this is generally good in other films/TV shows), and an absolute waste of Ellen Burstyn.

 

I liked DGG’s Halloween trilogy (yes, even Ends) but this was an insult to The Exorcist. Not quite Heretic level though, so I guess it doesn’t quite claim the title of worst in the series.
