messipotamia
Guys any predictions for MOS gross in Russia, it's opening directly against MU mind you.
Sam
I think with the new found popularity of superhero movies in Russia, 20M+ for MOS is possible, good chance to do even more IMO. For comparisons: IM3: 44.4M TA: 43.6M TASM: 21.9M TDKR: 17.5M TASM looks like the closest comparison here since it's also a reboot, so yeah, I think around that number or more. messipotamia
Thanks Sam, hmmmm DKR didn't do as well as one might think, wonder why that is.
Sam
Don't thank me, it's just my opinion Better wait for Juni to weigh in, he knows best :)TDKR did relatively well actually, superhero movies weren't that big, just okay, in Russia until last year from what I can see. TA was a break out and IM3 benefit from TA Effect as well as having RDJ on a tour over there promoting. Also, maybe TDKR faced IA4 back then, and that animation is a huge success in Russia. Fullbuster
Something between 20-25m is my guess too, the competition with MU will be interesting. Don't forget, Man of Steel and Monster University in Russia = June 20th
A Marvel Fanboy
I think 20M for MoS.
