Posted August 3, 2023 Share Posted August 3, 2023 “It's time to return to Element City, as the latest film from Disney and Pixar, Elemental, arrives on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on September 26.” So Plus on September 27th, following the plus to DVD pipeline that's a 100 day window. They might do a Labor Day re-release. I don't understand why Disney released Haunted Mansion in July. Why not near Halloween - it could have actually made some money in October. Instead they released it and cut off the legs for Elemental and Indy to get enough screens. Even then it still held on to the 30s and may have rebounded but Haunted Mansion took over many of it's showings and screens that Barbie hadn't already.. ZeroHour Posted August 8, 2023 Share Posted August 8, 2023 One of the nice side effects of this film's box office turnaround has definitely been Peter Sohn's improving reputation. The Good Dinosaur situation really wasn't his fault and he's probably the main reason that film wasn't unwatchable. You can tell he put so much of himself and his family into Elemental.
