Looks like I might have overshot a little, would be a first for this film, so I wouldn't count on that. Also shouldn't that mean that 4.5m need to happen, unless it should become the film hat even BvS had better legs (2.82, yes that is pretty much together with FAst 8 I think some of the worst multis of the bigger movies in the last years, hell even TLJ managed a 3.63x and those films all had the disadvantage of opening on a Thursday)

terrestrial
The Monday's update in the long version: Quote Avengers - Endgame kam, sah und siegte... 2.298 Quote Avengers - Endgame came, saw and won ... According to first estimates, the Marvel movie, with more than 2.13 million visitors by Sunday, has the best start of the year and the best start since FJG3, which two years ago counted 2.17 million in five days. Infinity War had 1,326,301 visitors a year ago in just five days. In addition, approximately 1.675 million mean the second-best start of April of all time on the weekend, the third-best start of all time by revenue and # 30 of the best launches ever. The latter position is particularly interesting, as the Fourquel now has the best start of a "real" Marvel movie (the Men in Black movies are not Marvel's own) and 17-year-old Spider-Man's starting record (1.409.004) breaks. In addition, A4 has made the fifth-best start day of all time for visitors and the third-best start day ever for sales. Despite the monster launch, some films were able to hold their own and even outperformed the previous weekend (from Friday there was also perfect cinema weather in many parts of the country). Three more films are six-digit: After Passion (about 117.5k) is now at about 775k visitors, close behind are Monsieur Claude 2 (about 115k / 865k) and The Case Collini (about 115k / 265k). The Top Five closes Welcome to the Wunder Park with about 95k visitors (about 320k total). With more than 60k visitors, Dumbo is the only other film about the 50k visitor brand approx. (600k total). The top ten gained about 309% compared to the previous week, compared to the same weekend 17/2018, when Avengers - Infinity War led the charts with 1,075,122 visitors, it was up about 62%. 2298 translated with software, per Insidekino.com news area http://www.insidekino.com/News.htm

Numbers in Austria were even a bit better (as usual, probably with steeper drops too in coming weeks). Next weekend: Sensibly, distributors kept their big releases away from this weekend, Endgame owns the majority of screens and will win its 2nd weekend with ease - the only question is: How steep will it drop? With weather still cool and wet, I can definitely see a sub60%-drop and maybe even sub50%, putting the Avengers on a path to north of 5mil total. 6
