pinocchio
The chart also shows TASM did much better than expected. The opening weekend predictions from Insidekino.de always include all days, not just thurs-sunday, and they had it at 300k. lab276
It did go up by 24%, so it probably wasn't in the top 10 last week.
pinocchio
Are they going to go back and have charts for every weekend or is it only from now on?The Media Control logo tells me it's from now on. They must have made a deal to publish the full numbers en detail quite early I guess. The first german media is usually Blickpunkt Film with some precise numbers. I didn't think so but it's playing at most open air cinema festivals (so at both here in Innsbruck, last Saturday dubbed at the one and subtitled french will be shown in August at the other)

Week opening even considering the circumstances. "Intouchables" back in the Top 10! - what a story. Rock of Ages dropped out of the Top 15 in week nr.3 - I never had it pegged as a big hit but that's very disappointing. This week, Ice Age 4 could end Spidey's 4-day-lead. The other noteworthy opener is Cronenberg's Cosmopolis but I would be surprised if it cracks the Top

IndustriousAngel
Now that we know they don't go to the cinema AND don't produce babies, the obvious question is: What are they up to? IndustriousAngel
First trend for this weekend: As Spidey was sincerely hampered last weekend (weather+Euro2012), this weekend's strong hold should not surprise anyone; it has a small chance to top last weeks admissions. IceAge4 is the clear winner and might even triple Spidey's numbers. As good as that sounds, it's a bit of a disappointment: IA4 will be at about 1,5mil admissions after a whole week; it will be nearly impossible to reach IA3's nearly 8,7mil from 2009; IA3 opened at the same date and was at more than 2,2mil admissions after the first week. "The Lorax" will open on July 19 (won't hurt IA4 that much) and Brave ("Merida") on August 2nd (will propably kill IA4). At the moment 6 million admissions looks like the absolute best IA4 can hope for. Edited July 6, 2012 by IndustriousAngel
