Napoleon
Thank you @Fullbuster that's a lot of data. I thought BVS would be better in the whole LA considering how good it did in Brazil and Mexico.

I thought BVS would be better in the whole LA considering how good it did in Brazil and Mexico. There is an easy explanation for that : Argentina and Venezuela got back to much more realistic exchange rates instead of trying to give them an unrealistically strong value. That means these 2 markets collapsed in US Dollars : by 60% in Argentina and more than 90% in Venezuela. Colombia's economy's fine but its currency lost much value as well... Because of that we can say BVS lost at least $30m-$35m! That's a lot.
Fullbuster
Sadly, it will be the same for CA CW, without Argentina/Venezuela at their apex (more like their bottom!) it won't beat Iron Man 3, but it's sure to beat BVS, it's already around $75m after all.
Fullbuster
Movies gross in Latin America as a single market (UPDATED ) I thought it would be interesting to know how big Latin America would be if it was a single market. So I added every Latin American countries' gross. Brazil being the second biggest LA market behind Mexico and the most populated I think it's fitting, and I will show what is the share of Brazil in all this Latin American population : 610 million (2015) Brazilian population : 205 million (2015) Brazil's share : 33.5% Zootopia Latin America : 59m Brazil : 12.5m Brazil's share : 21.2%
Napoleon
I still didn't see Zootopia, I'll try to watch it this week before it leaves theaters. I'm curious to see how Dory will perform here.

BD2 got a 3-day OW, that is seen that way because it was like that back then. That's all. I suppose it makes Hollywood sense, as they are all about artificial numbers and records. Oh well, I still won't be all that impressed until a movie actually beats that, even if it's not an "official" record. Nice work with the rankings by the way, it's truly appreciated. Yeah, I didn't either, it only stayed in it's subbed version in the local theater for 2 weeks and I couldn't really watch it back then and afterwards I couldn't be bothered to watch it dubbed at all. I'll just watch it at home some time this year.

Max
@Fullbuster Dude, even though I am quite new in this website, I have noticed that you are well in charge of the Brazilian box office. The amount of information really impress me; that's a lot of effort. Keep up the good work! I am big fan of Finding Nemo but I found the trailer of Dory a bit meh. Hope the movie will surprise me. By the way... who is this chick on your avatar?

By the way... who is this chick on your avatar? Well, it's mostly the results of 2 years of small efforts that accumulated so now it's pretty easy I just have to update I won't stay much longer though, I'll be very busy in the next few months, but I'll always come back to update eventually. I'm not excited about Dory as well...I expect so much from Moana though! She's Elizabeth Olsen
