It's a combination of a relatively stable ER in the last 2-3 years (the rest of the world is in freefall) + rise in ticket prices, which compensates for the fall in ticket sales. Horror movies are doing particularly well this year!

$0.85M as per Deadline for Black Adam. That's nearly half of Shazam's unadjusted and less than half adjusted. Yikes. I still believe could come close to both Eternals and Shazam (unadjusted) but below at the end.

 

Disclaimer: Shazam was still a 3-Day while BA is a 4-Day. Hence why I think the difference in OW won't be as abysmal as in OD
