Morieris
Surprised they don't seem to have a livestream on YouTube like last year...they really fell off after their controversy.

It seems like the only way to watch them live is The Today Show? Good thing I have it on right now lol. Apparently it's also on .... Peacock lol I'll pay to watch Eurovision, not an Award Show Nomination panel!

Cmasterclay
Babylon is revived. They hated Women Talking. Otherwise as expected. Sucks no Cruise or RRR.
filmlover
Women Talking completely shut out (edit: aside from Screenplay and Score) and Deadwyler snubbed. They were not here for MGM's movies at all. Alright, I love Carey Mulligan and she's very good in She Said but if she gets in for such blatantly obvious category fraud I'll have to laugh. She's top-billed! Edited December 12, 2022 by filmlover
filmlover
Updated with all the nominees.
grim22
This is the worst unveiling of nominees ever. No way to watch it in India at all and their social handles are so behind I have no idea what's even been revealed or not. Not exactly the start they wanted coming back after last year. grim22
Also is it me or did the Globes do even more star-fuckery than normal in this list of nominees?
filmlover
My takeaway from these nominations are that the Golden Globes will always be the Golden Globes no matter how much they change their membership lol. You just know Cruise would've been easily nominated if not for the fact he returned his three awards to them.

I would hope so. It's a field of 10 and he couldn't make it?

Actually, he is nominated as one of the producers on Top Gun so if it wins Picture he's on the stage (if he attends) regardless, they just didn't nominate him for acting.
