On Thursday, the Margot Robbie/Ryan Gosling-starrer added $28.1M from 69 overseas markets, a 15% drop from Wednesday. The offshore cume through yesterday is $320.3M with global at $578.7M.

Barbie has now claimed the biggest opening week ever for a Warner Bros film in New Zealand, and the second-biggest in Australia as well as the top opening week of the year in both.

In individual markets, Barbie continues to strut through the UK with aplomb. At $45.4M, the film now boasts biggest non-franchise opening week of all time.

That’s the top market, while Mexico ($33.4M), Brazil ($27.3M), Australia ($20.3M) and China ($18M) round out the Top 5.

A couple of notes here: China improbably, given expectations, grew 75% on Thursday versus last Friday’s opening, and Germany increased 51% on Thursday from last week’s bow and 4% from the previous day, cume there is $14.6M.

Just no words for this performance. Mario looked super safe to win the year both DOM and WW, but Barbie has a real shot of taking the crown.

Mario is only safe for become runner-up

Mario Two week $690m,Barbie $800m+-

Mario doesn’t have Japan at same point,Barbie doesn’t have Middle East+Japan

Barbie bigger than Mario in 80% market

Mario didn't have middle east either or Malaysia, Poland, South Korea, and Philippines. This obviously doesn't shift things in Mario's favor but just correcting the statement.

At the Irish box office, Barbie has quickly become the largest box office opening of the year, bringing in €2,098,132 over the weekend of June 21st-23rd, 2023. The other big release of the weekend (and the second-half of the viral fanmade double billing dubbed ‘Barbenheimer’) is Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, which made €1,134,635 domestically.
