2022 did have Black Adam, Black Panther and Avatar, but those were basically the only three movies that did anything the rest of the year. No box office weekends over $80 million until mid October and December was essentially dead save for the Na'Vi. This year has a much more robust and balanced slate, even if it's still not pre-COVID balanced.

This year is gonna finish a lot closer to 2023 than 2022 (hopefully above it). Joker tracking aside, still got five more movies with 200mil+ expectations. Ideally the September animations also pick up the slack if Joker does disappoint.

If it really is as family-driven as being indicated ideally can manage something like a 40% true weekend drop, or $55-60mil. Great Tuesday bump but again I think a lot more people felt like getting out of the house for the debate, especially families.
