Rsyu
Roaring currents has lost a lot of screens and audience with today's releases. Here's how it compares with Avatar in week 4 Avatar 155,207 144,073 130,557 124,056 152,543 349,819 340,722 Roaring currents 263,870 231,205 171,165 ... Avatar managed 6.2 million more admissions from this point onwards. It's hard to expect the same from Roaring currents but if it can manage half of that it would still be a great success

chasmmi
You think roaring currents can add 6.2 million more admissions? Find the word 'million' in my posts I was just messing with you in that Roaring currents would be considered succeful even if 5 million people demanded refunds tomorrow, let alone manages another 3.1M. In seriousness I see the film breaking 17M but not 18M admissions.

My predictions are similar to yours. A lot depends on how it holds against <brilliant life> & <lucy> and whether it can summon a final huzzah during the chuseok holidays. Fullbuster
Roaring Currents + Frozen = great year for SK, this market will grow again this year, I wonder how far this market can go because with its population reaching 50m and a fast-aging it will reach a ceiling at some point or another, but it's still growing...Complete admiration

Rsyu
Crap friday, really not much different from a normal weekday. Roaring Currents has fallen from it's #1 position for the first time since it's release. It's a great achievement for the pirates, which looked the weakest of the "big 4" summer blockbusters at the start of summer. If it were not for Roaring currents, it could arguably have come close to or passed 10 million admissions. The fault in our stars and begin again have shown great word of mouth in their second week, continuously climbing the rankings. Begin again should pass the score of once sometime tomorrow.

I saw Begin Again just because my friends wanted to see it and it was not my time to choose. I has now idea what was it about. It was not well promoted here in Spain. But I liked it. The music is very good too. But remember is a low budget movie.
