Menor the Destroyer
Could be review bombing but I do think it's quite possible that this movie gets a much better reception in Western countries than in East Asia. Hard to say right now. SC definitely is getting review bombed on Google's rating though so there is the potential. Or I guess the third option is that it is not review bombing as such but that Koreans specifically hate it (but that doesn't translate outside of Korea). I see some mixed reviews from some Chinese audiences on Weibo - with ticket stubs; these Chinese are staying overseas in Singapore and South Korea. might have some disconnect between East vs West perception; but we need to see more reviews to see how it goes.

It has 2 weekends with limited competiton though. Let's see how legs work out; if the reviews are really getting bombed then actual WoM might be better? Lol. Edit: also confirms your suspicion on the presales; too much discount inflating presales which doesnt neccessary translate to actual demand on OD. I think there may be no late shows due to CoVID, that would lower PSm as well. It added nothing in last 3 hours which is weird.
charlie Jatinder
137,935 on 5864 shows. 13.6% attendance. Not that terrible in absolute terms. Edited September 1, 2021 by charlie Jatinder

Singapore seems to be doing okay. We will see how Hong Kong behaves tomorrow - you can track attendance via Wmoov box office for HK. Yes WED start is common, just that I think there are no late night shows which get most admits during weekdays in India, I suppose would be same in KOR. BW was just night shows on WED. $1.73M. 1
