The previous one was Bohemian Rhapsody (released October 2018 in Korea) Week 1 (Oct 31 - Nov 6): 864,478 Week 2 (Nov 7 - Nov 13): 1,197,067 Week 3 (Nov 14 - Nov 20): 1,332,523 Fantastic Beasts 2 opened this weekend Week 4 (Nov 21 - Nov 27): 1,508,150 It ultimately ended its run with around 9.94 million admissions. Right now it's stuck - 3pm the same as 1pm Edit: Looked at the yearly page and the total is 14,343 more admissions so added that to 3pm. With a 44% ratio thats 47k. IronJimbo & Sheldon's Son Posted July 11, 2023 Share Posted July 11, 2023 Several hours later and the Ruby Gillman sweep dream is over, Barbie just overtook it in PS. Now at 4.6k vs. 4.3k for Ruby. pepsa Posted July 11, 2023 Share Posted July 11, 2023 Elemental should make up some ground % on walk ups I think. OFC is CGV ratio is down to much it won't matter much. I think it's important for Elemental to recover on thursday and not drop more. The good news is that after a bad day of PS yesterday it had a good day to day. Hoping it can stay (close to) flat from tuesday. 60.5k (+18k) vs 77.2k (+17.85k) last week. Meaning proportion wise it went from being down 28.4% monday to monday to 21.6% down tuesday to tuesday in presalles. If it can keep this up we should see a recovery over the weekend. MI7 starting with 44k, meaning 88kish presalles of those 304k are for OD much more backloaded than recent movies (other than Elemental). mr1006 Posted July 12, 2023 Share Posted July 12, 2023 (edited) I'm not surprised Barbie presales are low because presales aren't open yet for premium theaters (IMAX, Dolby Cinema, etc.), and the movie doesn't have a dedicated fanbase that'll book the movie immediately (like the Japanese anime movies releasing soon).
