Rsyu
Based on my calculation, ERC says 32M Exhibitor Relations @ERCboxoffice 3m SPIDER-MAN 2 top territories: CHI ($54M) UK ($37M) KOR ($32M) MEX ($26M) JAP ($22M) RUS ($20M) FRA ($18M) BRZ ($17M) Thanks. I got $32.1M based on current exchange rates. Should be just under $1M behind TASM on it's 3rd weekend.

Rsyu
I really thought Godzilla would be higher They haven't marketed it well in Korea. I have yet to see a poster or a trailer of Godzilla outside of the theatres. Also it suffered from some controversy a while back when they used the Japanese Imperialist flag to decorate the poster a while back which could have played a role. With the Japanese-Korean relations being at an all time low, it wasn't well received.

Rsyu
So around 75% drop this week. OuchhhIt's the low end of my predictions. There's a chance new releases aren't well recieved in which case it could hold better.I doubt it will happen though, weekdays could fall below 20k with new releases. Rsyu
South Korea Daily Box Office (05/15) exchange rate: 1USD=1025.5 KRW TASM2 crosses 4M admissions. it can be considered a success now I think, despite doing less than the first. It's the 2nd highest grossing hollywood film of 2014. The fatal encounter fell heavily and is now behind The target. WoM caught up with it I guess but it should still pass 5M admissions. Grand budapest hotel is still in the top 10 which is amazing since it was released on march 20th. Crazy staying power! Rsyu
that is nothing to be proud of because CA2 deserved it a LOT more than spidey. Setting aside the argument which movie was better and deserved it more etc, any foreign release managing more than 4 million admissions is a pretty impressive feat. only 32 hollywood films have managed it before TASM2 crossed the mark. However, you could argue that CA:TWS was more impressive since it increased 8-fold over the first avenger.
Rsyu
Foreign Releases Title (admission number) Avatar (13.6million) Frozen (10.3million) 10M admissions Iron man 3 (9million) 9M admissions Transformers: dark of the moon (7.8million) Mission impossible ghost protocol (7.6million) Transformers revenge of the fallen (7.5million) Transformers (7.4million) The Avengers (7.1 million) 7M admissions The Dark Knight rises (6.4million) 6M admissions Return of the King (5.96million) Inception (5.93million) Les Miserables (5.91million) Mission impossible 3 (5.74million) 2012 (5.46million) World War Z (5.23million) The Two Towers (5.18million) Kung-fu Panda 2 (5.06million) 5M admissions POTC: At World's end (4.97million) Spider-man 3 (4.93million) The Amazing Spider-man (4.85million) Kung-fu Panda (4.67million) POTC: Dead man's Chest (4.62million) Night at the museum (4.61million) Terminator Salvation (4.57million) Mamma Mia! (4.55million) Iron Man 2 (4.5million) Harry potter and the Deathly Hallows pt.2 (4.4million) Iron Man (4.31million) King Kong (4.23million) Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (4.13million) The Mummy 3: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (4.09million) The Dark Knight (4.09 million) The Amazing spider-man 2 (4.01million-22 days in release) Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets (4 million) 4M admissions Currently a foreign release would have to surpass TASM's 4.83 million admissions to break into the top 20. Top 10 would need to beat Lord of the Rings: Return of the King which is ranked #10 with 5.96 million admissions. Films that pass the 10M admission mark are considered mega-hits and to date, only 11 movies (foreign + local) total and only 2 foreign releases has reached this mark. Rsyu
Pacific Rim had a pretty huge OW. I can't see Godzilla matching it. With the DoFP released next week, it won't match PR's total either. No movie is really dominating at the moment maybe DoFP can change that.
