Fake
For some reason they keep over-estimating Skyfalls total in the UK in $.In pounds, it's still at £82.7m according to Screendaily, but that's not $133.4m. It's $131.6m.You sure? Pound is a bit bigger than $1.6, isn't it?

Fake
So the USD gross from here on will be affected.... the old USD grosses will not be revised because of the present exchange rate.egSuppose a film made £10m in its first week with ER 1.61 and £5m in second with ER 1.59. So you are calculating £15 * 1.59 = 23.85m. But the studios calculate £10 * 1.61 + £5 * 1.59 = 24.05m.That's why your USD gross is coming lower than studio figures. RthDeadWov
In a nutshell Studios calculate $us based on monthly intercompany rates, rates that are set in advance are weighted average re adjusted end of month, been a few posts about it before Edited November 21, 2012 by Rth

Tesseract
Taken 2 was released here today so curious to see if skyfall will be affected and how muchIndeed. It will need to be 10 x as successful as Taken 1 to make a dent though. I see it gets just 69 screens (compared to Skyfall's current 209 screens), so I guess they are not expecting much.
