John Marston
With a summer opening it certainly would have made a lot more. Look at the god awful AE doing a 45m opening, Oblivion would have easily done 60m and its legs would have been better as well. At least it's still beating AE both domestically and OS lol yeah the original July release date was much better. The people who go "oh it still would have struggled in July" I think don't know what they are talking about
A Marvel Fanboy
Sony Pictures International Releasing sources said the overall launch was bigger than debuts in the same territories of Oblivion ($45.1m), The Last Airbender($42.7m) and Jaden Smith vehicle The Karate Kid($32.3m). The Dark Alfred
So what? It was a summer opening. The film sucks, so it's guaranteed to do MUCH worse legs.

A Marvel Fanboy
Oblivion is closing out its overseas run, and it looks like it will fall short of the $200 million mark. The $196.5 overseas total from the Tom Cruise sci-fi vehicle helped save face from an underwhelming $89 million performance in North America. The sci-fi film's global total is $285.5 million. Should have done more. Edited August 2, 2013 by The Dark Rock
