Epic should be huge since Saturday is Children's Day, so next weekend, even with Hangover flopping, it will be another huge weekend. You're jumping the gun. It seems internationally you go all out for films and domestically you say everything will flop or bomb. Is there a middle ground somewhere from you? It could very well explode to 600m OS or even 700m, but acting as if it's a lock after only a few territories OD numbers is beyond absurd. After we know this weekends international gross only then can we get a picture of where it's heading. Even then though it's not absolute as legs vary from many variables like competition and weather. If it makes 750m WW OT should be viewed as a HUGE success, but with people inflating expectations like you are it would be viewed as a disappointment. That's not a disappointment at all. 600m OS is not LOCKED to happen, nor is 700m. It's possible sure, but I'd rather wait until the weekend is over to see how it's looking.
