Rsyu
BoxOffice @BoxOffice 46s FROZEN: $630.2M Overseas Total / $1.026B Global Total #Frozen That would put it above Alice in wonderland WW for 15th highest grossing film of all time. It should pass Phantom menace and Jurassic park too shortly.

Agreed, for a non ghibli/pixar/franchise film that is one huge opening. it should do somewhere around $70M I think realistically. Hopefully more though Edited March 16, 2014 by Rsyu

Normally, a film OW 3.56m is estimated to be 32m at most. Well, new year holiday certainly helped it. But the legs were just out of this world. Its 4th weekend was only down 8% from its OW. At that point, it had already made $31m with $3.3m weekend. So something crazy happened during the first 4 weeks other than the holiday. I'm thinking The WOM was spreading very fast during new year holiday. Oscar nominations announcement probably helped too, since on the weekend after the announcement, it only dropped 0.3%. catlover
That's probably for the last 10 years or so because I'm pretty sure Spirited Away and Titanic's runs were better. But Les Mis was indeed the exception.

iceroll
Well Frozen has tended to be an exception in most markets so far too. I don't think we can discount a 15+ multiplier just yet. When it opened in the US and SK, no one expected it to end up with the totals it's getting now.
baumer
So it looks like it's going to break TS3's WW total.

druv10
So it looks like it's going to break TS3's WW total. Beating TS3 WW is absolutely locked, 1.1B WW and maybe even TF3's WW gross are the real question marks.
Boxx93
great opening for Frozen in Japan, as expected. So, If we go for the 15+ multiplier with the 3 day opening that would leave Frozen at 141m.
