Taken 2 had a lousy weekend in finland. Brave is also doing poorly, as is Bourne. Magic Mike, oddly enough, has been quite popular in my town, unlike in the rest of the country. It has played at my local theater for five weeks.

Also the most controversial finnish movie event of the year, Sinivalkoinen valhe (unveiling the doping use in professional skiing) barely made a dime despite big media coverage.

Columbus Day is stil a holiday?

Yeah, as noted banks and federal buildings will be closed.Our school district coincides Fall Break with it this year, not sure that happens every year but this year it does.Your grocery store, gas stations etc were all likely open yesterday.
