7M is way too low, but I don't think it will perform very well...

Why not? It's Kevin James in a fish out of water scenario, it's made for kids as well. i don't see why it won;t open to at least 15 mill. Find me the last Kevin James film, with him as the star or main co-star that opened to less than 10 mill.

I am thinking on 10-12M, so I don't think it will open under 10M either. :lol: I just think Kevin James is not as popular as he used to be. Zookeeper still grossed over 20M OW, but that had talking animals and opened in the Summer (it had great legs, tho). Isn't MMA a big part of the story of this one? I am not sure if that is popular with kids and HT is still going strong. Edited by CJohn

$50 million for Odd Life of Timothy Green. Who would have though it would get a 5 (rounded up) multiplier? If that movie had better critical reception maybe it could have gross even more. I do wonder if Disney has plans to release it overseas

Yeah, Hollywood has been trying to cash into MMA for years and nearly every single film bombs. They haven't done an MMA film aimed at kids though. Weird combination. ;)
