DtS is tracking close to flat. Lets see how evenings hold up.  If it does, it'll show WoM is still building and make 1B/$150m for FSS and will make 1.7b its first week Fr-Th for a 2.023b total.

 

It has competition next week opening to 100m+ OD that will take shows but could still hold -40%.  If so 4.2b/$632m will be the floor. For now, 3.6b/$542m is locked.  Maoyan is projecting 3.9b/$587m.  Deadline says analysts are at 3b/$452m, they were way low early on with WW2 as well. https://deadline.com/2018/07/dying-to-survive-china-box-office-social-impact-1202422199/

 

JW2 and I2 are looking to hold flat/small bump today

 

EP2 was down 98% WoW on Friday. It will be down 97% for the weekend.  PR still holds the crown at -98%

WW2 WoM was insane with a large Sun bump, then managed to bump on tuesday and the following sunday.  It took a hit on thursday due to a 150m opener that quickly faded. Hard to match but will be fun to follow.  It will have to hold -40% tomorrow and at least flat Tuesday to be a contender.

The previews pumped up the weekend.  PS were small before the first preview. It probably tripled the weekend. 

We would see dailies increasing now if OD was 50m , but demand was soaked up with the record breaking weekend hence the drop even with the 9.7.

Maoyan reduced projection to 3.5B, you're right, it will probably finish in the low 3's, close to $500m
