Tower
Presales:Apes 30615 (Presales crossed 30000!) http://www.gewara.com/movie/192140384 It would be nice if there was some context to these numbers, otherwise I can't tell how good they are. alee7915
So Apes could reach $100m total in China? Based on presales it should reach $100m... but it is better to see how it performs in the next few days.

Normally for a film to do well, the presales have to reach 10000. Example: HTTYD2 presales - approximately 16000 and it reached $56M for now. And now the Apes presales is 32394 and it keeps increasing! http://www.gewara.com/movie/192140384 Edited August 28, 2014 by SUPER GIRL
Olive
Apes presales are 20% better than X-men, but its still last days of summer holidays, it should open on par with DOFP or slightly lower.

peludo
I was thinking in doubling first part gross (32 million), but to talk about 100 million chance is crazy . I wish it go as high as it can. I have liked a lot the film.

Fake
Keep in mind that Apes will lose lots of screen just 3 days after release, so 100m would be difficult even if it opens higher than DOFP.

Fantaboy
It's at a 7.0, is that an accurate gauge of audience reception? Seems kind of low. It is just a temporary number before the movie gets enough audience reviews, which doesen't represent anything.
