Holy shit, it has beaten FF7 on Gewara already. I don't think it hits 370M for FF7 but 200-250M OD shluld happen and maybe more.

Gewara showing 600k tix could be spread out over days. It can be fun to watch it explode but you can't indicate OD with it.

600k tix is about 20m in sales. Maoyan is showing 56m in sales just for sat. And you can scroll thru the days.

Gewara has discount tickets for TFA,other websites don't.so presale is crazy on Gewara.com.Normally,every online ticket.com has a large number discount tickets.The total presale for OD is close to T5.But Saturday evening shows will stronger than Sunday.with more showtimes,TFA is Still possible to break "Lost in HK"Saturday record 246M.

Ok. So let's say it does 200m/ $30m OD 

The daily drops can be harsh if a movie has mixed WOM. By the time you get to next weekend its a 70% w/o/w drop.

Typically you'll see. 

Sun   -25%

Mon   -60%

Tue     -12%

Wed    -12%

Thu.    -12%

Fri.       + 10 to 40% depending on demo. SW should play bigger.

If WOM explodes you can see the results intra day as the numbers tally and the next day has a tremendous hold. It's on steroids here. The potential movie going population is twice that of Domestic, so something opening small can blow up in less than 24 hours.

FF7 only dropped 46% on monday.

We'll see if WOM is good if it can hold better than 20% on sunday, the Monday drop could be less relevant due to demo age, hard to judge but less than 55% would be good. Tuesday is critical. -15% and it's meh. Less than -10% is good. Holding flat and it's a blow up.

Was lackluster opening. Half of aOU but it popped over the weekend and nearly beat it's run.it lost a lot of screens to locals when summer started or it would've beat AOU with $250m +
