The Toymaker
Well that was 90Yuan well spent. The Amazing Spider-Man was miles better than The Dark Knight Rises. The cinema was about half-full on the first showing of the day at 9:15am. Pretty early, but that didn't stop dozens of kids from NOT SHUTTING THE FUCK UP.TASM: A-TDKR: B-

Olive
My ratings for them:TDKR 8/10TASM 8.5/10(I enjoyed it more, and Stan Lee's cameo is amazing)
Olive
Looks like TDKR wins this weekend.
The Toymaker
Yea, the cameo is great. lolOverall, the use of music/sound was far superior in TASM than in Raimi's trilogy (childish and pathetic) and Nolan's Batman (too heavy for a Batman movie). The effects and slo-mo at the right time was great too.
The Toymaker
There seemed to be many more people waiting for TDKR than TASM when I went this morning. Wouldn't be surprised if TDKR won the weeked.
MrPink
Friday estimatesTDKR/TASM : 25 mil yuan/ $3.94MSo 5 day total = 24.2 for TASM, and 21.8 for TDKR?

The Toymaker
Do you have any figures? The weekend is not over yet. I don't believe Chinese sites issue projections like the US does.
Olive
Do you have any figures?too early. they were neck to neck on Friday.TDKR will beat Spidey today, and Prometheus will take lots of TASM's 3D screens tomorrow.
kayumanggi
As long as the numbers are good, I don't care who wins.
The Toymaker
TASM's marketing seems to be only web-based. I have seen many posters and trailers for TDKR on the street, but nothing for TASM. Alternatively, I have seen nothing online for TDKR.The numbers are not going to be great, and TDKR will win overall. Prometheus will be soso, and TE2 will be great. It will be the last US blockbuster to come out here for a while, so hopefully it can capitalise on that.
