And there is a big difference with those films since both of them had a big US investment. The Others was produced by Tom Cruise and starred by Nicole Kidman. And Planet 51 is an animated film which cost $70m (co-produced with USA an UK) and was dubbed for the US version by Dwayne Johnson, Jessica Biel, Justin Long or Gary Oldman. Unless I miss something, Contratiempo has not foreign investment. It is 100% local. I did not even realized about the existence of the film until its release in China. Quite shocking run for me. Me the same, hahaha!!! i didn´t hear about it, but maybe this is the future, films orientated to the China industry, the real business is there! The local distributor invited the director of Contratiempo to China to promote the film. The director even explained to Chinese fans a few bugs of movie on China's Quora.

DrLove90
Hey guys, Just checking, has Homecoming finished it's run in China? I was wondering how much it has currently made and also, if it hasn't finished, how much everyone thinks it will make. BOM doesn't have a very up-to-date figure & I'm unsure about the-numbers.
