china never ceases to amaze me, one way or another everytime something will happen. At the same time, their covid policy isnt sustainable but whatever ,i just hope that the party isnt too stupid to continue that tactic every time there is an outbreak as covid will never vanish.

Rgith now the bigger worry  is will XI openly support Putin's invasion of Ukraine, which would cause CHina to be hit with a bunch of sacntions, and might lead to China cutting further the number of Western movies alloed into the country.'

Have to assume he won’t. Unlike Putin Xi isn’t insane and is still intelligent. Putin is a nut job, acting worse than Trump now. His country will suffer for decades thanks to his stupidity

IMHO Putin has moved well beyond the Trump category. Think Hitler or Stalin.

I am not sure ,though, what game Xi is  playing.

Are Chinese movies going to he delayed bc of poor box office?

Because of CoVid-19 (Return of Wuhan Variants)

Many Chinese Film has been rescheduled again for May 2022. Imported films dates remain unchanged (BTW)

Currently, only "Lighting Up The Stars" 《人生大事》 hasn't moved from 4 April 2022 (I am expecting it to move)

Box Office has reached freezing point and at this point, the future looks bleak!
