I would not call it insane. Maybe it is just what Hollywood movies like this shall do. It is always supposed to do $50~60m. Now the range moves up to $70~80m.

 

Remember the YTD overal gross for foreign is still behind that of 2012.

Sequel or not, when comes daily change, not much a difference. It has all to do with release slot and WOM.

 

At this time of year, every single student is out of school, which makes them can go to a movie on any day of the week they want. No typical 50% Sat increases like other months.
