1.IM3:$121.2M

2.PR:$67.5M

3.MOS:63.4M

4.The Croods:$63.3M

5.FF6:$61M

6.Skyfall:$59.2M

7.STID:$56.9M

8.G.I.Joe 2:$53.8M

9.The Hobbit:$49.7M

10.AE:$34.4M

PR: expected to be a hit in China but never thought to be this big.

I expected it to do HOBBITS number or less even.

AE: lol! Will Smith's kid is saved by Chinese people. Twice.

So 2nd week should be around 200m yuan after all.

If PR follows jumps/drops for last week, then Sat and Sun should be 32m+ and 28m+ respectively.

Hope next week can bring another 100m (though 80-90m seems more plausible).

Right !

600M looks very likely though. next week, 100 will do $100M, 90M will do 600M, 80M+ will do $95M.

I think studios consider China as the most important foreign market out there. For god's sake they try to make their films as China-Friendly as possible, I don't see them doing that for other countries. I sincerely doubt they get honestly get 25% of the gross. There's plenty of hidden curroption in China that the Studios use to get a higher percentage take of the gross.

Getting 25% when you don't have to distribute the film isn't that much less than most places once you add distribution costs.
