For those that have taken the poll on "When China BO takes over Domestic", please do so. I would like to see where the consensus is. For now the median is about 2020. You can also pick a year that the first 1b movie occurs and the franchise that does it or a director/producers untitled work.  http://forums.boxofficetheory.com/topic/18793-what-year-will-china-pass-domestic/

You can also post you're predictions that will be kept in a table on page 1
What I have so far. What you say?

Year China Over Domestic US$ Year of First $1B Movie Franchise or Director/Producer Untitled of 1B Movie
Quiqley 2018
Johnny Storm 2019 2020 Avatar
heinrich 2020 2022 Star Wars
M F Lawrence 2026 2031 Nolan Untitled

what is friday looking like? 40m or more?

I just started tracking that like I did frozen.

Midpoint on the day was 230 for both tue and thur. On wed when the evening caused the entire bump, the midpoint was 330pm.

IDK if fri evening will be proportionately busier than VD.

its 37m if its 330pm like wed

could be up to 41m if 430pm is the midpoint. I doubt itll be any later/higher than that

Below 40M is a horrid number.

get ready to be horrified. it continues to track 75% of Wednesday into the evening, That would be 36.75m down 71% from last friday

It is Friday though, maybe it can gain a little, but still, as johnny said, its crashing

I would not take cbooo as gospel. They have been way off track both directions. Also it has barely lost any screens(its still close to 50%). So its friday increase should be similar to last week. That would mean 41m.

Let us wait for Olive's numbers.

Down 72%. Regardless of how big tomorrow is, +70 to +100%, with new openers on Tuesday I assume it will be down at least 70-80% all next week. $225m is target now. Damn. Looked to high 200s opening day, to mid 200s on wed then low 200s on Thursday. Back up to high 200s on the weekend to mid 200s on wed  and back to low 200s on Thursday-Friday, interesting run. This makes 1.4b a little more difficult keyser
