Sources also say that Sony is trying to move spidey forward for a few days.

They should have done that, because if TDKR falls on Sunday, then it will have the chance to grab money for three days. Thanks Olive for providing information =)As long as TDKR can open in China, others I don't care. Wonder if TH can open there?

that isn't a problem, but as always, it should open in January here. All Christmas season blockbusters are delayed.

A sunday opening is not good at all, just as a Saturday opening is not either.TA could have done 600M yuan if opened on Friday instead of Saturday. And MI4 could do 700M in the same way.The thing is, 8.30 is still in summer school holiday. So students can check it out as soon as they can if TDKR gets 8.30 (Thursday) opening. But with September 2 release, a few 10M yuan could easily lose. The competition from TASM is not a problem at all. People will see both. Theaters will be packed that day and both films will enjoy a huge OW. And TDKR will beat TASM.

Then the "back and forth" is there again hehe good luck for Hobbits. Is The Four nice? It is coming to Malaysia's cinema next week.

No, the back and forth thing won't happen to TH, the LOTR movies were all released here and did good business. The Four is garbage, don't waste your money. :)

I see, that's almost the same as in Malaysia. Hope WB can push it a week later to 6 September. Any release on that week?

What kind of potential does TDKR have there? I know TDK was a huge bootleg success there. But without a box office number to back it up, there is no way to know how many will show up for TDKR. Either way, I'll just be happy if it gets released there so the fans can see it the right way instead of bootlegs.
