lab276
2012 is comfortably ahead of 2011 in ticket sales. That gap will widen more. You should be happy.Damning with faint praise unfortunately. Luckily if it keeps up through December, beating 2008 is a definite possibility. ChD
So, with these weekend projections:Skyfall sub 200M finishWIR 175MArgo, big drop for Argo, 110M end ?Argo currently is at 85M ... I don't see it reaching 110M if the drops continue like this (Bond will have good legs I think). It'll reach 100M, maybe 105M, but I honestly don't see it reaching 110M. ChD
2012 is currently ahead of all years and, hopefully, it'll set a new record. This weekend grossed more than the 2010 weekend at same date. Edited November 10, 2012 by ChD

lab276
2012 is currently ahead of all years and, hopefully, it'll set a new record. This weekend grossed nearly x2 compared to 2010.It's always going to go up in dollars. Maintaining or going up in admissions is the important thing. Totem
With 77M OW, no.With QOS multi it would gross 191m, it will have better legs and the OW will more likely finish above 80m.200m seems pretty damn likely to me.
ChD
Ralph looks like it will drop 38-40%% and your freakin out. LolI have to agree... Ralph did have a good hold considering that Bond just opened... Also, the difference isn't that big. Megamind dropped 37% in it's second weekend, so Ralph with 38-40% is just as good, not a disaster as you take it lol

A Marvel Fanboy
Megamind didn't have an $80m opener in its second weekend.Again, Megamind didnt great reviews as WIR. Megamind was hated by most internet fanboys, just like Hotel. Yet they both has great legs. And everyone here says WIR is awesome. And now look.
