ecstasy Posted January 22, 2013 Share Posted January 22, 2013 (edited) I thought it was a bit underwhelming. But I'll stick with it. Lots of good series start off slow. Nothing started off slower than The Wire but I stuck with it and was richly rewarded.There were a lot of jump scares in this. Creeped me out. Kevin Bacon is awesome. As much as I love James Purefoy I was hoping he would be a bit more sinister. But there is time for that as each episode unfolds. I thought the ending was pretty good. AI is currently hitting 15 million but at its peak it would hit 22 million. Currently NCIS ad Big Bang Theory get close.10 million is a solid debut for the show. It has a small room to fall-its nice to have a cushion.On the show itself->characters undeveloped and the violence was senseless. The show doesn't seem to have an actual theme yet-it's not really interested, as far as I can tell, anything beyond the surface level. The actual plot was okay but damn if that ending didn't hook me for at least the next episode-but its going to need to flesh out characters and actually be about something if it wants me for the long-haul.
