stripe Posted August 27, 2013 Share Posted August 27, 2013 Surprising, but the score of Mortal Instruments has some good tracks, esp Clary's theme. Now that the summer is over, I can tell I'm disappointed with the this year blockbusters scores. My personal favourites are After Earth, MU and STID scores, but they're both less memorable than other works of JNH, Newman and Giacchino. On a postive side, maybe we didn't have a full score that works as a masterpiece, but we had some very good tracks. Can you dig it (IM3), London calling (STiD), Ghosting (AE), What are you going to do when you are not saving the world? (MoS), Goodbyes (MU)... dashrendar44 Posted August 27, 2013 Share Posted August 27, 2013 (edited) If I got to choose a memorable theme out of a 2013 summer movie I saw, it would be Ode To Harrison out of STiD, every time that coda burst out blaring in the movie (the build-up from 4'55 and then at 5'15, glorious), I got chills.
