Sean Penn was very good in this, but I think Mickey Rourke was a bit better.

 

 

BUT, I would have given Best Actor to Benicio Del Toro for Che.

Let me guess: Tarzan also hates Indiana Jones (cuz he just wastes tax-payer money), ALIENS (cuz Ripley has an anti-corporate attitude), and TDK (because Batman is anti-gun).

Tarzan seems to be in a competition with himself to make the worst post ever.

 

Anyway, I liked the movie, but I didn't love it, as much as I love Harvey Milk as a human being and politician. I think the performances are excellent and the direction is good, but it never elevates beyond standard bio pic fare. I felt the same about Lincoln and Ray- a really good History Channel movie made into a really good Hollywood movie by the strength of the lead actor.
