When you look up the word musical this is what you think of. This film is nothing but pure joy, it never fails to put me in a good move. So many memorable songs, the title track, Good Morning, Moses Supposes and Make Em Laugh a sequence where Donald O'Connor never fails to amaze. A+

This movie's amazing; so quick and deft and smooth, just gliding along, entertaining you every second.

This is terrific. There's like two musical numbers in there that I dont care for, but its still one of the happiest movies ever made.

One of my faves. Amazing chemistry, great songs&dance and funny as hell. Debbie still has spunk and looks way better than Carrie. She could play older Leia much easier. The old lady looked great and was a hoot when she was a guest judge on SYTYCD.

I don't like musicals for the most part.  But this is one of the best films of all time imo.  The music and the dance numbers and "make em laugh" are astonishingly amazing.

Even more amazing that (the brilliant & sexy) Gene Kelly had been ill for days and the day of filming the Singing In The Rain number had a 103°F fever and spent all day soaked and getting sicker.

 

The movie is pure joy.  One of my all time favorites.
