It's amazing how such tiny markets can have such huge grosses. Hong Kong's population is basically a large city in America.

HK isn't a tiny market. It is a top 25 or top 30 market so it's a medium sized one.

12m was possible after its opening weekend but 12m now seems to be a lock. I am expecting some sort of crash next weekend but if it drops 55% and makes another 1m, 13m is happening.Dark Shadows will command 2 screens on Thursday and there will be competition for screens from The Vow, Delhi Belly and Fairy Tale Killer. I really don't see The Avengers escaping with less than 55%. I have it down for a 62% fall.

Overall, it could make about 4.5-5m.If it makes exactly 2m this weekend, MIB 3 will have made 3/4 of MIB 2's total gross.Scheduling news:- The Amazing Spider-Man moves to June 29. No word yet if they will move it up once again to promote/highlight the Asian markets first.- Because of Spider-Man moving, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is delayed by one week and will start showing on July 5.- GI Joe 2 moves to March 29, 2013 to make room for conversion into 3D.- Painted Skin moves to June 22 with GI Joe 2 gone.
