  1. That water cannon music festival looking thing looks insanely fun
  2. He's a pretty obscure character. Mostly affiliated with Cable but in more recent years was part of a Punisher storyline
  3. Yeah Quorums estimates are just ridiculous with 200 as the floor but it is achievable. Especially if reviews are strong, which it sounds like it will be.
  4. Yeah and either way this has a path to being the biggest R rated film the year, if not all time
  5. Idk why you act like 200 million openers are common. It's only happened 8 times ever. In the last 5 years there have only been 2.
  6. Probably in the next couple weeks. I don't think Ashes was unveiled till a few weeks before release.
  7. A 200 million + OW would be industry shifting. When it's happened the industry pivots to follow it. With Avengers it was cinematic universes, with Jurassic World it was reboots, Star Wars it was legasequels. If Deadpool hit it it changes the approach to R rated films for the next decade.
  8. I just think this art style will push away the wider audiences that made previous LOTR movies into hits.
  9. Tracking sounding great for Deadpool. Marvel seems very confident in it too, especially with early reactions starting to hit.
  10. You act like Supermans filming is like so far ahead instead of maybe a month and a half. Nobody's predicting that gets delayed for some reason
  11. There's literally no reason to assume any of those are going to be delayed other than FF being in the same month as Superman.
  12. There's footage descriptions with spoilers, but a big thing is that apparently basically all the footage in the trailers is from the first 40 minutes. The big red thing at the end of the new footage is just Alioth, who's also in the other ones. He's just more red than purple in that shot for some reason.
  13. So there's almost definitely a trailer coming in the next week. Surprised they'd do it before SDCC but it is in line with the usual promotion timeline stuff for a September release.
