You do realize "they're reshooting the whole movie" was never an actual thing that was happening right. Every credible report is that the reshoots are action sequences.
Hypothetically...the things that make someone hard to work with as a showrunner would be lessened with them as a film writer. Obviously depends on what happened and how burnt those bridges are but it's possible
You could maybe make the argument for the first one as a more artistic thing but a 200 million dollar Batman franchise film does have comparable financial expectations. Hell this actually makes it more expensive than several of the actual Batman films

Well they barely shot Minecraft if anything, vs Cap 4 where they absolutely would have enough footage to show. But it does seem like Deadpool is the safe bet
