  1. Sneider says that the issue wasn't with Demayos work, but because he was insufferable to work with. I trust Sneider because he is an expert on being that type of person. Disney also didn't love his Onlyfans but it seems his conduct was the bigger concern.
  2. Wait, do they not still get the sequels for the stuff they've already made with them?
  3. It was pretty clear from the way he was fired was that it's probably some issue with him behind the scenes, not because of how the final show turned out.
  4. Nope, Fall. Reportedly it's being timed for around Halloween ala Hocus Pocus.
  5. With a small sample size it'll obviously be very skewed but it does indicate it'll be well reviewed overall
  6. Yeah, if it really hits I could see it going over 400, but I think around 350 is a good solid result.
  7. True on the first, but I think people forget that Free Guy was a crowd pleaser. It was the first big release out of COVID that wasn't day and date!
  8. Im definitely getting Free Guy vibes from this. Not super crazy, but a very solid crowdpleaser.
  9. People are underestimating this. Barring toxic reviews I think this should do solid numbers.
  10. Idk why they'd decide to definitively end this one when it's the most successful of the spinoffs other than Spider-Verse. Especially when they seemed so dead set on Spider-Man and Venom
  11. It sounds like whatever it is they don't want him doing press for the show. We might get more information at the premiere tomorrow, but my guess it'll be at most incredibly vague.
  12. I've been saying people are overlooking Fall Guy for a while. Ironically, I think a good comp is Free Guy.
  13. Yeah, this definitely isn't related to like the story of the show or anything. It's definitely a behind the scenes thing.
  14. I mean we know one was fired and one left. We can speculate of course but I think other than some "no comments" on the red carpet tomorrow this is probably the last we hear of it anytime soon
  15. Unironically yes. What If changed showrunners for its third season as well and it wasn't some mass controversy
  16. Not even remotely the same thing. Unless, again, something criminal has happened, I really doubt this is going to be a big press feeding frenzy
  17. ...maybe? If this were like a live action project but an animated series it probably wont be. The article says there's a premiere event tomorrow, so maybe some questions will be asked then, but unless it's something criminal we probably won't know why the actual reason specifically is.
  18. It could very well be that he's an asshole and that's why he was fired, but that doesn't necessarily mean there's some story about to break.
  19. You're overthinking it: the article even mentions he had an Onlyfans account. Got a feeling Disney was not overly fond of that
  20. I don't know if it wins. Academy is stacked against Sci Fi. Messiah, from.my understanding, does play more into the type of stuff the Academy likes so it may stand a better chance, especially if they actually make it the finale. Though if that one does comparable numbers one wonders if they may decide to just continue without Villeneuve
  21. I could see a trailer during ad breaks but I don't think it'll be like Little Mermaid where it's a part of the actual show. (Fun fact, apparently the actual Oscars audience was bummed about that because they didn't actually get to watch the trailer, it was only the broadcast)
