  1. Okay, the most I'v ever seen a movie in cinemas is 3 times. I don't see how anyone can go see a movie 6 times in just over a month!? This is total fanaticism and obsession!
  2. So DiCaprio getting a Christmas release date for at least a third time. Catch Me If You Can (2002) and Django Unchained (2012) both grossing around 160m. Just an interesting little fact
  3. I'm seeing Desolation of Smaug tomorrow! Probably Frozen sometime next week.
  4. Wow, thats not like RTH to be off by that much. Probably had more important things to do on Christmas then give the most accurate numbers. Jar can you provide a link?
  5. Harry Potter is a family film but its hardly heavily targeted at kids like frozen is.
  6. Dont worry Frozen fans! Treasure Planet and The Wild Thornberrys had 133% and 146% increases on Thursday after falling sharply on Wednesday christmas. But baumer is right, its not increasing today.
  7. This was a good film but the dubbed voices are absolutely shocking quality. 6.5/10 (B-)
  8. I lot of people wonder why Christmas is a pretty big day for movies. It comes down to probably two reasons. One most people are on holiday and two most places are closed leaving cinemas to be one of few available options. Correct me if I'm wrong.
  9. Last year Wreck it Ralph and Rise of the Guardians both had significant decreases on Christmas. Yogi Bear increased by 17% in 2010 and Tangled also in 2010 increased 20% (mind you this was a saturday). So it seems heavily targeted kids films do have muted Christmas's, good chance frozen will stay flat or even decrease tomorrow. Adult films seem to have huge increases, for example the fighter in 2010 had a 167% increase. My predictions Hobbit +75% Frozen -15% Anchorman 2 +100% American Hustle +115% Catching Fire +70%
  10. Did not expect a lot those names up there
  11. Re-entry in gravity was absolutely superb.
  12. Your right about this though, its hilarious and I watch it every year with friends as a Christmas tradition
  13. No. No. Nope. No. NOOOOOOOOO Also David Yates is a terrible director and the last Harry Potter films are completely over-rated boring pieces of crap
  14. Quite poor by Pixar's own standards
  15. I really didn't like this the first time I saw it, but my second viewing I really love it, not often a get a dramatic change of heart like I did here.
  16. Imagination gone wild, this really is awe-inspiring animation. Studio Ghibli is Japan's own version of Pixar. This film is an easy A
  17. Yes, this is another one of my favourite childhood movies. Beautiful animation and quite underrated IMO. B+
  18. One of my favourite childhood films, as such a cant help but give a bias A
  19. TBH, its quite boring for long stretches. Especially the start.
  20. Apparently this is meant to be very funny, I didn't find it funny at all and neither did the 100 other people in the cinema. Very few laughs from the audience.
