    So its heading for 120m if Saturday bumps for 20% from true Friday. I honestly think moving it forward two weeks may have hurt it a little.

    I think it was a mistake having Deadpool 2 and Infinity War so close together. Would of been better for everyone if Solo open this weekend (less direct competition) and Deadpool in a few weeks.

    Probably does not get to 155m. Think it tops out 140m which would be a nice increase without Valentines Sunday helping this time around.

    So Solo 3-day possibly less than Deadpool 2. Damn that would be an upset.

    Are people seriously saying a 50% week on week drop is bad? Cus thats simply not true. Look at Thor 3 drop of 66% against much lesser competition in Justice League. Its actually a better WoW drop than last Thursday lol.

    Yes but I think that is countered by not having families boost on Saturdays and Sundays.

    Solo's presales look rather low for a Star Wars film. Sub 150m incoming.

    Surprising that Infinity War had the best hold despite being direct competition.

    I believe the average Disney films take a lot more percentage cut than you have listed, your China cut is accurate that never changes.

    Score continues to rise, which is nice. Perhaps by end of the weekend it will be close to a 9.

    When you have average ratings this high those 1/10 down-votes severely hurt scores.

    Perhaps it is just a saturation problem which leads to potential spillover next couple of days. Does the average theater in China do seat selection. Saturday is continuing to steam ahead maybe because people are deferring from Friday for better seats.

    Flame Mendelson, Grace and more all you want. The truth of the matter is they have not seen the data we have. They are probably just looking at Ultron/Civil War/Black Panther numbers and making a gut estimate from that.

    It only dropped 47.5% from true FSS. So I thinking around a 45% drop this weekend which gives around 63m

    Well if it keeps healthy growths why wouldnt it get a good more amount of a screens. We know China's capacity is at least 500m USD so its more than enough room. Has it got competition on its release weekend?
