    I honestly don't think it has the faintest chance of hitting $300M. Has the total domestic take for any single 3-day weekend ever hit or exceeded $300M? The highest I've seen on BOM is in the upper $200M range, even on weekends with individual films that took in over $200M (TA & JW). The 4-day Memorial Day weekend in 2013 saw $313M in ticket sales, but TFA won't have that Monday boost helping it. Basically, I'll believe $300M if/when it happens. And maybe not even then.

    Those numbers would portend a >$300M OW, right? By the way, what happens in the case of duplicate predictions? I noticed that someone came in after my prediction and posted the same number (domestic). There are other duplicate predictions on the list. Does the person who posted second get adjusted? Or is there another way to decide?

    The leaders of the FOP are acting exactly like terrorists or a gang. This threat is chilling and it's meant to be, in order to intimidate not just QT but anyone who might criticize the police. Should anything untoward happen around the release of this film the head of the FOP ought to be prosecuted for making terroristic threats and inciting violence. America is practically a police state.

    I tried to submit a support request but then my real name and address were demanded by the submission form. It acted like I was ordering something, right down to listing a price at "checkout" ($0.00). What's that about? Also, this supposed WYSIWYG system doesn't always post quoted text, images and emoticons correctly. We also make typos that could be spotted on preview. That's why the ability to preview is needed.

    This is the only film I've ever seen run a "critics" ad featuring just one critic. Peter Travers of Rolling Stone provided all of the glowing quotes for the ad, which makes sense because he's the only top critic to give it a positive review. Pete seems to be channeling Armond White's contrarian spirit on this one.

    Will we still be able to log in via Twitter? My password doesn't work anymore so I have to use my linked Twitter account if I'm logged out. Also, there's a problem with password recovery on the forum. Will that be fixed?

    Jurassic World is a PG-13 movie, as bloody and gory as it is. The ratings board has its quirks but filmmakers can get by with a lot, so long as it involves extreme violence and not sex.

    It could be a 'family film' in the same way that the original Poltergeist was -- a family being terrorized in their own home by demonic beings. That's fun, if it's scary enough.
