  1. Amazing film. Some people may not like the theme, but it definitely resonated with me. A
  2. I don't really have a favorite game soundtrack, there's plenty of good OSTs out there, Age of Empires, Halo, Modern Warfare 2's, and Metal Gear Solid.
  3. Maybe they didn't want the China OW to beat the US either? And get the 100m crown while at it?
  4. I thought it was a fantastic concept, but the story went sideways and the stupid action kinda ruined it.
  5. 1. The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly 2. The Great Silence 3. Unforgiven 4. Fistful of Dollars 5. For a Few Dollars More 6. Once Upon a Time in The West 7. Django 8. Blazing Saddles 9. True Grit 10. The Searchers Hard to say, I love these all.
  6. Unforgiven, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, and the Great Silence are my favorite Westerns.
  7. Hopefully it goes under CA2. Would be hilarious if that has the highest OW for all of "extended" summer.
  8. Most boring box office run ever. Godzilla was the only surprise OW for me and man that fell fast. Stupid summer, Hopefully Apes and Guardians surprise.
  9. Hopefully there'll be new characters as well. Dunno if they should focus on the same main guys. Anyways great to hear this is getting a sequel. Always love me some more robot punching giant kaiju.
  10. I doubt it considering how much the movie was made to cater to the Chinese audiences.
  11. More of the same. I got the impression the writers just added random shit to keep the script going, like they didn't know what to do.
  12. TF1 TF3 TF4 TF2 Last spot is a flip between the two for me.
  13. Just saw an advanced screening. It was surprisingly dull. The movie definitely felt way too bloated. Action scenes were a disaster of cluster of everything as usual, can't tell who's on what side. No character development as usual. Visuals were okay. Usual government is bad, single people are good nonsense. Also extremely obvious the movie was done to placate the Chinese, there's plenty of product placements by Chinese companies and the last 50 minutes or so of the movie was in China. I don't even remember the soundtrack. Just all noise. C-
  14. Easily the finest Indiana Jones film ever made. Perfect blend of action, humor, seriousness, history and acting. Music just makes it perfect. The desert battle is easily some of the best action ever in a movie. A+ Also God is pretty cruel to make that man read the bible for 700 years, all alone, till he meets his replacement. Then his replacement loses the cup and destroys his temple. What an asshole.
  15. The weakest of the series. I feel the comical characters kinda fail at delivering the banter over and over, and the weird racism was not very helpful. Action was good fun. A lot of nice dark scenes. B
  16. Fantastic film, though the ending was absolutely stupid. The truck chase was so much fun. A
  17. Caught this yesterday. Not sure why I watched it. This film is basically an insult to human intelligence. Filled with robots (who also conveniently talk to themselves alone in English for the audience purposes because we're that dumb), product placement everywhere, one of the dumbest "romance" relationships I've ever seen in a movie, dumb characters and really dumb cliches. Also plenty of ass shots thrown in, because you know, fuck it. Action scenes with robots fighting each other are supposed to be its redeeming quality of the Transformers series, but in this film it was extremely difficult to follow and you had no idea who was on what's side because everything is in your face and the film was filled with endless human character interaction bloat that was cringeworthy at best (even at one point the two retarded/idiot robot twins were telling racist jokes too, quite a low point even for a Bay film). Advanced robot alien race, still can't fix a voice processor, but can broadcast everyone's else's. Advanced robot race, able to use liquid human terminators. Only used once. Hard to get invested in the characters if they're so stupid and able to survive anything (Sam falls three stories, survives. He falls in a car another few stories, not a scratch. Goes flying in midair a hundred feet, survives). The acting was pretty terrible, but not surprised at that aspect. Human armies are useless as usual and filled with cliche bureaucrats. I hope the series never reaches this level of stupidity again. D-
