  1. IW final gross with the 6.9m Thursday number if it follows these films: TA: $751,247,800 GOTG2: $710,269,763 Ultron: $665,192,469 IM3: $653,115,219 CW: $631,039,557
  2. I would think that Solo will have more of an impact on IW than Deadpool. Solo & IW = family films Deadpool? Not so much And it's Star Wars, so who knows how high it will go, 300-500m range?
  3. IW total with the 10.5m Tuesday if it follows the following films: TA: $752,914,078 GOTG2: $710,038,855 Ultron: $662,521,822 IM3: $649,556,681 CW: $627,944,902 Right now it is following GOTG2 the closest, but we all now how things can change.
  4. Second Monday drops: IW: -77% TA: -74% Ultron: -76% CW: -77% IM3: -78% GOTG2: -77% BP: -77% Nothing to see here...
  5. With the 8.5 Monday number, here is where IW would end up if it follows these movies: TA: $752,895,001 GOTG2: $710,883,439 Ultron: $660,261,747 IM3: $646,726,709 CW: $626,370,622 $700m still seems possible, but I think Ultron might be the best comparison - just my two cents.
  6. Here is where IW would end up if it follows these films (just for comparisons): TA: $779,085,888 GOTG2: $720,494,561 Ultron: $655,065,316 IM3: $646,534,167 CW: $618,544,003 Edit: added guardians 2
  7. Probably a little too early for this, but here it goes: IW final gross if it follows... TA: $777,563,419 BP: $799,576,763 Ultron: $647,446,097 IM3: $638,532,632 CW: $611,343,724
  8. I would also add it's first Tuesday to this list; it decreased by 6% that day while everything else increased double digits. The average increase was around 40% for the other films in the top 10. The lower Christmas Day increase and then that third Friday drop were simply baffling to me.
  9. Jumanji may finish over $400m and TLJ looks like it might finish under The Avengers. Wow, did not evenly remotely see that coming.
  10. So, where will the TLJ finish - 3,4,5,6? I can hear the double Jeopardy theme playing in the background :). 12. $660,028,752 is the goal; "do, or do not, there is no try". I really have no clue if it will hit that number or not, but I am enjoying watching the box office run :).
  13. Looking at original runs only: ESB did 68% of SW (would give TLJ a $634,012,332 total with same % of TFA) AOTC did 70% of TPM (would give TLJ a $656,609,452 total with same % of TFA)
  14. You've never seen ROTJ? That is very surprising; watch it this break, you must :).

  17. LOL, okay I'll remember to breathe
  18. Doesn't explain why TLJ is down 6% and everything else is up double digits. I'm still quite puzzled whether the film has good, bad, or indifferent wom - it seems at the worst it should have stayed flat.
