    It seems like general audiences are picking THG over The Marvels as the Thanksgiving movie to see. Families/kids will be going to either Wish or Trolls. And mainly adults will likely see Napoleon. Anyone hoping The Marvels could be saved by the holiday should probably stop now.

    The so-so reviews may have depressed the opening for this. But I’m really curious to see if this opens above The Marvels. The cast is appearing on GMA ,Watch What Happens Live, Kelly Clarkson Show, Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers this week. Also Olivia Rodrigo is dropping the music video for Can’t Catch Me Now tonight.

    It’s not going to make that May date. Levy has Stranger Things 5 that he has to work around too. The turn around time is too short notice. I think it’s going to December and that means Thunderbolts moves to 2025.

    I don’t think careers will be destroyed. Brie and Decosta can go back to their passion projects. Decosta has already been filming a indie film with Tessa Thompson.

    The ceos are soulless and greedy. These strikes have always come down to when they want it to end.

    These SNL bookings were likely locked in months ago. Viola hasn’t wanted to do anything despite getting interim agreements so that was likely a no go. Rachel Zegler isn’t a big star with a hit to her name. I dunno about Dinklage, maybe he just doesn’t want to do it either.

    They are just repeating what other sag members are saying. Which is that all the trades have studio spin and wait for the committee to announce any relevant information.

    What the studios consider to be best is not nessarily what sag considers to be best.

    Best and final offer usually indicates the final deal. There will likely be some minor tweaking but they’ve been negotiating back and forth nearly 3 weeks( not counting the week long break in between) so I’d be disappointed if this isn’t the end.

    That’s correct. More actors will probably be dropping from previously announced projects because of this.

    It’s pretty ridiculous since normal people work a full day on Halloween but then I remember this is Hollywood and they live in a different universe.

    Two and a half weeks isn’t a lot of time. Apparently there are premieres lined up in London, Berlin and LA. They are gonna put this cast to work! We shall see if it pays off.
