After Adventures of Tintin which was the most heartless animated feature I've ever seen? Bridge of Spies was a good movie but I feel like BFG has that Spielberg magic.

I think the CGI looks really good. But yeah, I think the movie looks like it'll be a return to form for Spielberg.

Not necessarily. If TV reruns show the ultimate version, it can get the exposure it needs. This is assuming the ultimate cut fixes the problems.

He could just be there, cracking jokes. Leave it to the solo Batman movie to explain his presence.

That was part of the problem. No immediate stakes that people's lives are in danger. One of the things I've learned is don't just listen to feedback. Get to the core of the feedback.

The problem was never really the amount of CGI destruction. They might have cut down on it but that wasn't what people were really complaining about. In both films, the destruction was cool but shallow. If Batman during the Doomsday fight had been trying to save people while Wonder Woman and Superman fought Doomsday off, that would have started to address concerns. People don't just want to see Superman beat up bad guys. They want to see him save us from bad guys. And even the little saving that was in the movie? All gloom.

X3 isn't even that bad!

Spidey 3 is far superior to both Amazing Spidey films. So it has that going for it.

Just move JL's production to a right to work state.
