  1. I really hope it does. But we won't know until Fri or so if The Avengers has helped and if IM3 itself is actually like by audiences!!

  3. It's an odd one...Click.My father had passed away just prior to this and when Adam Sandlers 'father' character passes away I just broke down and balled my eyes out in a sold out session in front of all my friends -_-"
  4. Incredible! Like I said in the Box Office thread, it's on par with The Avengers! From the moment the film starts with Eiffel 65s "Blue" and a really great pace is set, it just gets better and better. Two scenes I want to note in the short time I have:1. Tony is left with only parts of the MK42 suit to use - one hand and one leg piece - and it is an incredible action scene - one of those "you just have to see it for yourself" scenes. Although the 3D was not great overall, this scene really stood out in 3D. 2. Pepper. Oh Pepper. Just do me now, please. At the very end she takes on The Mandarin with her new 'body' as well as the IM suit and kicks his ass in such a style that I was left sitting there with my mouth open. Insane! It's cold and it's 3am so I'm not exactly in a typing mood, but hopefully I find the time to tell you more. No. Go see it.9.5/10
  5. 2 hours 45 minutes! You'll probably get sick of my excitement and me counting down. Deal with it.
  6. 8 hours til my midnight session!!!So friggen pumped!!
  7. $35m is what I'm expecting and would be an exceptional increase given its a third film in the 'Iron Man' franchise.
  8. Almost impossible. That would require doubling Iron Man 2 and also coming close to The Avengers - I don't think goodwill will be that strong.
  9. "It’s Thursday late shows and Friday midnights grossed an estimated $1,103,839"That's quite the accurate estimate -_-"
  10. Bit disappointed with Identity Theif actually.Thought itd go strong for $10m
  11. Oh of course I have to agree with you there.I just think its even more impressive given I don't think it's deserving
  12. I thought it was 'good' at best. But I will say it had its moments of 'great'-ness.
  13. Hmm.. I'm a bit skeptical on Catching Fire; that's a $19m increase from a $30m grosser, which is a massive ask.And as for Star Trek - it will be lucky to get near $24m, let alone $34m. Remember ST09 only made around $16m.
  14. Well I'd like to watch it again, but not 4 more times. That's just cray.
  15. A very rare thing happened when I walked out of my Oblivion screening: I realised I was given exactly what I had been promised from the trailers. Nothing more. Nothing less.Overall I really enjoyed the film and I felt as if it had a really good pace to it. There were some points which I really didn't find necessary (and thought they were somewhat strange) - did JH really need to be cloned 432billion quadrillion times? But I went with it.Definitely recommend seeing it.7.5/10

  17. I hate this whole 'late shows' bullcrap. If you're gonna open the film at 7pm, might as well have a full day
  18. It's quite strange actually. For once it wasn't a staggered release; it was a staggered school holiday schedule.
  19. $5.5m WK for The Croods which means $2.1m M-W - a full $500k over my optimistic prediction!
  20. What is Miracle In Cell No. 7 in $$?That is a ridiculously huge admissions figure (one-seventh of the Australian annual total)
