    Not great for Minions, but that doesn't really matter does it? Still making bank for Universal. Everything has been said about JW's run but I still find a movie that opens to that much and still has weekly (and weekend) holds under 50% for its entire run to be astonishing.

    Leo will almost certainly win an Oscar at some point. The longer the wait, the bigger the storyline will become. The Academy loves to reward actors and give them their "due." Plus he's only like 40 so he has a ton of time.

    Great number for minions. Not a record but it is what it is. Wonder what the multi will be? IO and JW held well. Impressed that IO held that well in face of direct competiton. It's a beast.

    I'm really meh on the Minions. Extremely unlikely to see it in theaters. But it's having a great weekend, and I can root for it as another success this summer.

    STID is fun, although nowhere near as good as ST09. The Khan stuff is quite lazy, and the final few scenes are a let down, but it's fine, although Trek fans seem to hate it (I get why though). If SW7 is as good as STID, even with some over the top fan service, I'll be satisfied.

    All the original Indys are absolutely fantastic, Spielberg in his finest blockbuster making form.

    I agree. Little too heavy on the CGI though. A new Indy could do $400m. Emphasis on the could.

    We are in the middle of 5 straight crazy weeks with JW, IO, Ted 2, T:G, MMXXL, and finally Minions all opening. The craziness will continue.

    Before release: JW ain't gonna pass The Avengers. It may not happen, but to say with any certainty, after the past 2 weekends, is foolish.

    I may see JW one more time at a discount Tuesday showing, but yeah I'm pretty sure I'll have my fill after that. Then again, I rarely see movies more than once in theaters.
