  2. Thor's the best Avenger, so good to know you married the right woman. 👍
  3. A quick heads up for folks tracking Batman. Theaters with IMAX screens are having a "Fan First" 7 PM showing on Tuesday March 1st. It's weird to think over the next few weeks Nile, Dog, and Bat all have early screenings a couple days before Thursday previews. Nothing wrong with that of course, but it is weird.
  4. Excel lives in his own fantasy world we can barely comprehend. Just let him do his weird little thing and he'll tire himself out eventually.

  6. I know that The Quorum is still an up-in-the-air source for many, but Lost City's already got 40% awareness more than a month out. That's well ahead of every February movie sans Uncharted, so it's pretty good stuff. It's also got a good premise and good starpower a la Free Guy/House of Gucci and SXSW to back it up.
  7. It's another one of those lame Liam Neeson action vehicles nobody cares about. I miss when the guy did actually interesting projects.

  9. This is of course a sight unseen response and I'm sure a trailer will change my mind, but I don't see Elvis as a breakout. Even disregarding the "older auds not returning" issue, which is still valid, I'm not really sure Elvis as a figure is something people care about anymore. You don't really hear his stuff on the radio, even on throwback stations, and my exposure as a kid to him was mainly parodies of him in cartoons, not really a big shining, positive light. If anything, the cultural appropriation aspect of Elvis' music makes the whole thing feel even more dated. Acts like NWA and Queen are still big deals even to people who weren't born in their heydays and you had Ice Cube/Dr. Dre/Brian May still alive and active in the biz and promoting their films like crazy.

  11. The NFL moving the Super Bowl down a weekend to mid-February bugs the crap out of me, especially because it's now going to ruin Valentine's Day grosses forever. So utterly stupid.
