    Would a 25% drop be good for Shin Godzilla? I know they took a decent amount of screens away. Still hoping it can at least get to 70m still!

    Looks like Shin Godzilla had a great hold this Friday compared to last Friday. Hopefully that translates into another great weekend hold. However it also looks like they took some screens away from it for whatever reason. No worries, I'm sure it'll have another destructive weekend!

    Got my tickets just now! My wife and I are both off a few days this week so we decided to do a little road trip to Kansas. I'm ready, lets do this!!

    I know the topic is mostly Your Name. at the moment but Shin Godzilla having another weekend over 3m is amazing. Another great hold. Should be at 60m going into next weekend hopefully. I doubt it'll hit 80m(or am I wrong?) but hitting 70m is a great achievement for the franchise.

    Shin Godzilla had a huge increase yesterday(Thursday) for whatever reason, while other films didn't even come close to their last week number. Your Name. is a beast.

    I can't see this being dubbed. Subtitled for theatrical release with the dub on the BD. As far as box office potential, I think it could hit 10m if it gets dragon Ball zs theater amount(almost 1000) which made like 10m last year.

    We gotta wait for the official announcement. Theater showings will pop up after that. It's amazing watching Godzilla fans freaking out! Need to be patient!

    Yup, probably getting an official announcement from FUNimation soon and with that the theaters showing it! Can't wait and would easily do a drive to see this one! Oh, and to add, Shin Godzilla crossed the $50m blockbuster milestone in Japan last weekend! It really responded to the locals there so will be interesting what people here in the states think of this talky type Godzilla film.

    It's really weird.... I watched TBWP the other day, when I watched it all those years ago, I was 13, it scared the crap out of me... But after I watched it again recently I didn't get any of that feeling. The movie went by so quick it felt like it was over before I could really get into it. Doesn't matter, I'm watching this opening weekend. I hope to recapture some of those feelings like when I watched the original for the first time. My wife is coming.. so should be enjoyable. What are the chances of them actually showing the Blair Witch? She was described as being really hairy and floating with her feet not touching the ground. Or is she going to show herself as perhaps Heather?

    Well, I guess we pretty much have to wait for actuals then on Monday.

    Mim is back up, but it looks like it's missing over 4 hours of data? For example, I woke up at 3 in the morning for an update and Shin-Godzilla was at 45000 sales, but is still at that now. It was at 45000 at 17:23. It happens that that was the last update. It's like that for all the films.. it looks like it came back up sometime after 22:00, but no films had adjustments made. Can you confirm Corpse over 4hrs of data is missing? @Corpse The site froze at 17:23, and came back up sometime after 22:00 but numbers started where they were at 17:23. Weird.

    According to.box office mojo, Shin-Godzilla has grossed 449m. Lol Assuming that's supposed to be 44.9m

    Anime news Network is now riding with the 38m total for Shin-Godzilla.

    Hollywood reporter is also saying 38m after the weekend. Which makes no sense! It didn't make only 5-6m from last Monday through Sunday.
